You should first take a Likoni-bound matatu from the post office on Diego Rd. After that, you have to walk to a free Likoni ferry from Mombasa Island to the southern mainland, and get another 'matatu' to the south. It shouldn't take more than $0,20 a ticket on a 'matatu'.
