Yes there are. You can take the train that leaves Mombasa at 7pm every day, and you'll get there the next morning. A 1st/2nd/3rd class ticket will cost you $40/$20/$5. I advise you to make a reservation before leaving at the train station booking office (312 220) if you don't wanna travel on your feet.
