The Evening Guesthouse in Mombasa is the best alternative to a hostel. The rooms are very quiet, very clean and nobody will ever disturb you. Before you enter, don't be discouraged by the huge grey wall outside. NOthing in the interior is alike :) Rooms are around 7$. The house is located in Mnanzi Moja Rd.
