I'm afraid there isn't much of a public transport to or inside the reserve. I personally had to hitchhike till I got lucky and caught a ride with other tourists from Narok. In this case you'll have to share the costs. The rightest thing to do for getting to the reserve is on an organised safari from Nairobi ($50-$60).
