masako's question:
Any safe sleeping place, not risking to be elephant-squashed, in the Masai Mara reserve?(give a different answer) .
There's Little Governor's Camp inside the western part of the reservation, near Tanzania border. You'll sleep in canvas tents, at the cost of 500$ per night for a couple, with to and fro transport, full board and game run assured. You'll not be squashed by elephants, but they'll probably give you the wake-up call, and giraffes are likely to take breakfast from the nearby trees and bushes. These grasslands were Hemingway's muses and Teddy Roosevelt's favourite camp.
