Try going to Dagama's on Beach Rd. I spent a 2 weeks' period there and had no complaint. I enjoyed my light room with a small fan and the tasty food from the down-stairs restaurant. They provide constant hot water and the rooms have their own bathrooms. The fee is $7-$10 per person.
